What is a prayer cross?
We have called our crosses "prayer crosses" because of what they represent...prayer! Each cross is made from clay to model the fact that all of us are clay molded in the Potter's hand, our heavenly Father! Before each cross is baked, we hold them individually and pray for the person that is going to own that cross.

Why are they strangley shaped?
When we hold our prayer crosses and pray over them, the clay is not baked, therefore, a hand print is formed. Once it's been baked, our print remains. This is the visible sign that you have been prayed for, individually! Also, it makes it very comfortable to hold in your hand when you use it in your own prayer time.

How do you hold it?
Our prayer crosses are designed to fit comfortably in your LEFT hand. Any hand, big or small, should easliy hold the cross because the handprint is indented just enough for a perfect grip. The top of the cross should sit between your first finger and middle finger and your other two fingers wrap around the base of the cross. (See Homepage for example)

WHAT and WHO are they for?
We designed these crosses to minister to each and everyone! Our hope is that you will be reminded and encouraged to pray for others and for your own walk with the Lord. With the numerous scripture references, colors and names of our prayer crosses, our desire is for you to find one that meets a need in your life or the life of someone you are praying for. For exampe, many people have been praying for a sick loved one and purchased our cross called "Healing" and used it to hold and pray for that loved one. Many people pass along these crosses as a sign that they have been praying for that certain someone. What sweeter gift to give to someone than your prayers? These crosses are a visible way of telling someone that you've been lifting them up in prayer. It is also a popular idea to keep them close by as a reminder to lift that special request to the Lord or as a reminder that WE have lifted YOU up in prayer. Whatever the case, these crosses are representative of the power of prayer and the more praying Christians we have on this Earth, the better!!

How do I get one?
You can order now on our online catalog. On the homepage, click "catalog" and a picture of each cross, along with the verse that comes with it, will be displayed. Once you've chosen what you want, it will total up your order for you, along with tax and shipping charges. Also, all major credit cards are accepted.
